ABOUT
About Us
At New life Community Church, our purpose is simple...
- We want to know The Difference
- We want to be The Difference
- We want to
share The Difference
Jesus is The Difference. (John 3:16)
Our Church family is all about Reaching People, Strengthening Families, Discipling Believers, and Equipping them for Ministry to transform our World for Christ.

Below are the statements to empower our mission:
- People are valuable to God and they are valuable to us.
- People must be treated gently and respectfully.
- People need to be connected to God and a caring community.
- Each person has been created to worship God and enjoy His presence.
- Ministry and outreach must be carried out in relevant, creative ways to effect lives.
- Everything we do must be done with excellence.
- Being team driven is an effective way of doing ministry and also allowing room for the gifts and talents that are resident within each person.
- Every Christian has a God-given ministry which we will encourage and support.
- Acts of kindness done in Jesus' name will plant seeds in the hearts of others.
- Laughter and joy are an important part of a healthy community.
- We will reach outside our walls to help and encourage those who serve our communities, our nation, and around the world.

What We Believe
We believe that there are essential beliefs and non-essential beliefs. Often times, people get caught up in the non-essentials and miss the point of why Jesus came, and what He did for us. In the non-essentials, we have liberty. We don't expect or want everyone to think exactly the same about every issue of theology or doctrine. There are, however, several essentials that we believe, as a church, we must be unified around and support wholeheartedly. These are the essentials...
The Bible
The Bible was written by human authors, under the supernatural guidance of the Holy Spirit. It is God's Word to us and is the supreme source of truth for Christian beliefs about living. Because it is inspired by God, it is truth without error.
One God
God is the Creator and Ruler of the universe. He has eternally existed as the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. The three are coequal and are one God (Commonly known as the Trinity).
Deity of Christ
Jesus Christ was completely human and at the same time, completely God. Jesus lived a sinless human life and offered Himself as the perfect sacrifice for the sins of all people by dying on a cross. He arose from the dead after three days to demonstrate His power over sin and death. He ascended to Heaven and will return again someday to earth to reign as King.
Man
Man is made in the image of God and is the supreme object of His creation. Man was created to have fellowship with God but became separated in that relationship through sinful disobedience. Sin allowed evil, sickness and death into the world, both physically and spiritually. As a result, man cannot attain a right relationship with God through his own effort.
Salvation
Every person can have restored relationship with God through 'Salvation'. The blood of Jesus Christ, shed on the cross, provides the only way of salvation through the forgiveness of sin. Salvation occurs when people place their faith in the death and resurrection of Christ as sufficient payment for their sin. Salvation is a gift from God, by the Holy Spirit and it cannot be earned through our own efforts.
Water Baptism
Baptism is symbolic of the death, burial, and resurrection of Christ. Once we have accepted Jesus as our Lord and Savior, baptism is a way for us to publicly declare our new life in Christ. It is also a step of obedience based on God's commands and allows us to follow the example of Jesus, who submitted himself to baptism by immersion.
Communion
Holy Communion (The Lord's Supper) is a symbolic remembrance of Christ's suffering and death for our salvation.
Baptism of the Holy Spirit
The baptism of the Holy Spirit with the evidence of speaking in other tongues is a subsequent gift to Salvation. The Holy Spirit empowers believers for witnessing and effective service.
The Church
The Church is a local community of believers unified through faith in Christ. It is committed to the teachings of Christ and obeying all of His commands. The goal of the Church is to bring the Gospel to the world and to make disciples. The Church works together in love and unity, intent on the ultimate purpose of glorifying Christ.
Return of Christ
The Lord Jesus Christ will return one day and there will be a resurrection of both the saved and the lost. The saved will enter into eternal life, living eternally in the presence of God, and the lost unto eternal damnation without further opportunity of repentance.
Eternity
People will exist eternally with or without God. People were created to exist forever. We will either exist eternally separated from God by sin or eternally with God through forgiveness and salvation. To be eternally separated from God is hell. To be eternally in union with Him is eternal life in Heaven. Heaven and hell are real places of eternal existence.

Our Mission.
Helping People Take Their Next Step
We believe everyone is on a spiritual journey. Our mission is to help people take practical steps toward a deeper relationship with God through worship, discipleship, community, and service.

Our Vision.
Bringing Hope to Every Community
We envision a church that reflects Christ's love in every neighborhood we serve. Through strong ministries, outreach, and meaningful relationships, we aim to impact lives locally and globally.
